Key left in ignition buzzer

I replaced the ignition key cylinder in my 1994 C1500 automatic transmission tilt wheel truck. The "key left in ignition" warning buzzer sounds when I switch off the truck, remove the key, and open the door. Sometimes if I move the steering wheel into lock position or jiggle the key slot or change the tilt of the steering wheel the buzzer will stop for a while. When I installed the new ignition key cylinder I did not unplug any wiring harnesses. Everything went back together fine. The new cylinder that I installed was an Advance Auto part. Help?!

Something on reassembly was not lined up. Shaking it is telling you something is out of alignment or loose. Self induced, try again.
