K1500 6.5L frame swap options

Does anyone know if a GMT400 6.5L Suburban have the same frame as a 7.4L? They are both K models, but the K1500 6.5L has a 2500 frame if i have the right info?

Suburban frames for K2500s should all be the same. The only thing that makes your "K1500" 6.5 Burb a 1500 is the fact it has a 14-bolt SF instead of the Full Float that comes standard on any 454 or 6.5 truck.

Why frame swap? Frame rotted out?

Yes from around the rear wheels and back its pretty bad. Im surprised the rear leaf spring mount haven’t broken free.
