Hello I recently totalled my 1994 c1500 reg cab shortbox 5.7 auto. 112,000 miles. Had new motor, truck was mint. Looking for help finding comparable trucks for sale same year and 2wd. Our insurance company is jacking us around with 3rd party appraisals. They said it's worth $9500
If guys find anything my email is [email protected]

Yes worth way more how much was the motor was it a replacement or upgrade hotroded? Also look on eBay motors app they have quite a few of these trucks on there!!! And do a (carsforsale.com) search that’s a good place also! What do you feel is a far price to get from them? Good luck

I think thats a great offer. Unless Ive been living under a rock I was always scared they would offer me 2k to total my stuff out. Granted I know that our trucks esp yours is worth a bit more than 9500. How totaled is it? IF you can salvage it id do that and buy it back from the insurance company

Any structural damage, like cab or frame, is automatic totalled. Even on newer trucks; there was a guy on here who had a '14 model Silverado that slid into a tree and bent the cab and door top. Totalled it....
When our other 99 Burb got wrecked, it had a bent frame near the motor mounts, and the front clip was toast, completely crinkled up. We weren't going very fast, but the a hole that hit us was. This was ten years ago, and these trucks weren't as valuable then. It had 250K on it and we had to really fight with the insurance company to get the 3K that bought the current Burb. Copying receipts for over $8000 worth of repairs done in the prior 18 months, including a transmission overhaul and fuel injection work. Insurance companies want our money, but they never want to give it back when they're supposed to!
I had to buy my Dodge Intrepid back from them, after some road construction debris hit it. Didn't do much damage, but they didn't think the car was worth much.... insurance companies just want to be dics most of the time.

My relatively mint 1990 with 80,000 miles on it got rear ended in 2019 while it was parked. Total loss. I had to fight with Progressive to get $1,700.
