Installed towing mirrors on my 99 Tahoe

it probably wont cure this one but if you can take the old mirror switch apart without breaking it. simply clean the contacts where the buttons touch the circuit board with a Qtip and 99% isopropyl or acetone (nail polish remover) reassemble and it should work again.

I was talking about the mirrors. A lot of those cheap tow mirrors will have the wiring wrong, in most cases. You'll probably have to swap some wires around on the mirrors for them work properly, like others have mentioned. Or you could've gotten a lemon.

I bought one pair from Leroy Diesel and the other from Boost Auto.
