who are you ordering from? summit? jegs? call them and ask about it. they will know.

I called hooker and summit racing today and no one has gave me a good answer… summit want me to buy headmen headers. The whole problem is that hooker is the only one that makes headers that fit angles plug heads and c1500 trucks. After many phone calls today I am not closer to my answer. Look like I will be making new frame mount to center up the motor…

No I mean I wonder what they did from the factory that is different to make it offset to the side.

some guys a few years back on fullsize chevy had this same problem... i could not find any of his post over there... there has to be some marking or way to tell what is going on. i am looing into these motor mounts. the one in the pic is for 4wd he make them for the 2wd also..

new infor... here is a Photo of the headmen headers i Have and a photo 0f the hookers i want to install. the headmen hit my frame where they go straight down and the hookers are curved in that area. Looks like the hooker will fix my problems

So basically you had the wrong hedman headers for your application.

No, i had the right header.. i still not sure why they fit one truck not the other. the header fit fine in my 1990 swb truck but for some reason the header would not work in my 1991 swb truck... all i was doing was move the motor and trany from one truck (1990) to another truck (1991) should be a no brainier... something is deferent between the 90 frame to 91 frame...
