If you had to start looking for a new truck tommorow, what would you look for?

The mileage I think would end up killing me. I'm 16 right now but maybe in the future! Although it seems every k2500 ccsb I find is a 454, only once have I found one with a 350!

Probably would look at 99-02 z71 with a 5.3 or 6.0 and 4.10s

Or a 400 with a vortec 350 in it

There's a few options.

54 chevy 3100 6.0 vortec wth a manual 5 speed. Bagged. Wider tires. Something old but fast as hell. Want it to have patina too. Like this.

Next is a 56 or so chevy 3100 lifted with 37 military take offs, With a cummins maybe a manual. Patina for sure.

Last would be a 73-87 chevy. Anything goes lifted or lowered. These trucks are so badass.

If I didn't have to have a pickup, then a ls1 6sp camaro or a Pontiac Grand Prix gxp black or blue.
If I had to have a pickup, a rclb 01-04 2500hd 8.1 preferably manual, white or blue

I would look for one of three trucks
#1 1997 (year I was born) Regular Cab Short Bed, LS swapped with 5 or 6 speed, 4/6 drop, on 17's with drag radials on the back, would want it Viper Blue
or
#2 1997 Extended Cab Short Bed Z71, Vortec 350 or 383 stroker, auto or 5 speed, lifted on 35's, would have to be red with black wheels
or
#3 1994 Blazer/Yukon 2dr 4x4, 6.5 Diesel, NV4500, Lifted on 35's or 37's, NNBS LTZ 20" wheels

If something happened to mine, I would probably look for another 1997-98 K1500. I simply don't require the additional capacity of a 2500, a half ton suits me fine. 3rd door is something I would not give up after having one. If I had more scratch and had to move up a few years, I would probably look at an '08+ 1500 4x4 ext cab with a 5.3.

As far as color goes, blue or 2 tone blue with silver birch would be my first choice if I had a choice of colors.

Within the next year I'd like to go after a low mileage 99-02 ecsb z71 or 03-07 GMC ccsb Z.
If not that then I'd sure love to find me another Zr2. Preferably ext cab 5 speed.

Now if I had my choice of a NEW truck... It would hands down be a new All Terrain Sierra.
I have this pic on my phone just to drool over lol This is exactly the stance and look I'd go for.
