Popular in the late '90s to show sheet metal fab skills. I think they call that french'ing in.
Same goes for putting Corvette taillights frenched in to the bumper.

I like frenched in plates/lights/etc. But the angle thing was only cool for the first two trucks that did it.

Put a new bumper on that thing and it would be a very clean ride.

x2!! that angled plate is popular with some of the youth in the truck scene.. personally i'd rather run no plate than a crooked plate.
