Awesome. That definitely helps alot. Should be pretty easy to get to since my diff is already dropped 6" or so. Hardest part is going to be taking off that daggone skidplate up front.

Will I need to drain it at all? This should be a good time to go ahead and change the fluid as well.

Not sure if this has been covered, but if you drive it very far in 4hi/4lo on hard ground the drivetrain will eventually bind. That's normal operation in a non full time 4x4 box. Reason being that even though it may be 4:10 in the front and rear, there's always a difference in gear sets. Small, but enough to bind after a while as the front and rear shafts cover different distances.

If it's starting to actually hop within 50-100 feet or so you definitely have a different ratio front to rear.

Don't bother with jumper wires and whatnot, just leave the key in the "run" position with the engine off and it's all powered.

Yes it happens pretty quickly. And I figured I would have to jump it as Paul said, since it will be locked, unless I plan trying to spin all the TCase with my hands as well. I sort of planned on putting in the manual actuator at some point, so I may do it at this time.
