Hello everyone !
Sorry for the english, online translator.

My name is Klinger, I'm from Acre state in Brazil.
I have a 1997 Silverado MWM 4.2 turbo!

After I found in this forum the possibility of repairing the fuel marker, I realized that I had to do my registration to contribute a little bit.

Unfortunately, my bad English is in the way of researching something.
Has anyone ever adjusted the keyed door handle in the tailgate ???

I don't believe that was ever a factory option here in the USA. None of the trucks here ever came with a locking tail gate handle. There are some aftermarket options, although they use their own key. Here's one from Bully, picture on the bottom right of the page.

I have found taking the latch and handle mechanisms out of the gate then clean straighten and lubricate them will make them work as new. I would like to see an underhood pic of your truck. Is it a turbo diesel or gas?

Hello everyone !
I would use a key for all the locks of the car, so the adjustment!.

Some photos of the car.
Unfortunately he is very ugly, I work with him every day, I can not stop for renovations :(

It is an engine made by MWM with 4.2 liters, turbo diesel and 168 cv.
Gearbox is a ZF S5-420
Differential rear is Dana 60
