I have been searching for a build thread or anything on an install of an external fuel pump on a fuel cell for a Vortec 350. I have a bagged '99 Sub and so far, I have found out (as far as the factory wiring in the fuel pump/level sender goes) the purple and white wire is for the fuel gauge, the gray powers the pump, the small black wire (with no white line, even though the Chilton manual says it should have one) is ground.
Questions are;
1. There is a thick, black wire in the plug that is unaccounted for. What does this wire do?
2. The other plug on the stock tank is supposed to be the pressure sending unit. What does it do?
Please reply with a link or serious experience, I have searched before resorting to laziness.
