Never seen anything like this, literally gouges on the last three counterweights of a mid to late 90's Vortec 7.4. I rotated the crank around, it's not hitting piston skirts. I pushed on pistons, no movement noted. Went to check clearance between skirts and weights and can fit a stack of feeler gauge between them. Nothing out of ordinary in oil pan except dirt. Anyone else ever seen this?

Motor is a C.L. special, bought off a trailer for a rebuild from a guy who picked up from salvage yard for a project then went LS instead. Other than rust and dirt outside the motor internally is in great shape. Still has crosshatch visible on the cylinder walls.
