gears and diff ?

Hey guys. I need a gear change for my truck.kinna low on power right now. So need a band aid.
I am thinking 4.56 or 4.88 what do you guys run with 35s ?
Also when I do the gear change should I try to find a 14 bolt (9.5) or is the 10 bolt good enough ?

A 6 lug 14 bolt would be awesome. Put on some disc brakes while you're at it. 4.56 is good for 35's but if you plan to ever go bigger, consider running 4.88's.

What engine is in your truck? Also, are we talking about a half ton or bigger Are you planning on towing anything?

Yes half ton truck. Right now it has a 310 CI 4bbl making around 250-260 HP. Not planning on going bigger then 35 on tire size. Will be doing some towing. My car trailer.( open trailer)
But planing a 400 SBC build in near future.

Also no plans for hardcore off roading. Just light wood runs and what not.
