Hello all!
I am building a carbureted engine for my 88 truck.
350 inch with mild cam and vortec heads.
I have heard that the stock pump doesn't produce enough volume for what I am doing. I would prefer to stick with an electric pump.
Wondering if I should use a later model (2000-ish) pump and bring the pressure down with a regulator, or is there a low pressure pump I can use in place of the stock unit?
Or...???
Thanks
Chris

Get an AC Delco EP381 out of a 96+ Vortec system. It is a direct replacement of your TBI pump. Then get a bypass pressure regulator.
