That's cool! That would of saved a bit of frustration when I put the fogs on my '97!
For the driving lights (not fogs) on my '98, I'm going to use an old style headlight high/low foot switch.

If I remember correctly there's multiple tabs on it, what are they for? I'm assuming the actual control for the lights, power, ground, and there's a light on it?

Looking at the back of mine.
Left side.
Top=black (ground)
Next down=purple
Under that=red (power) I wired this to the park lights.
Right side.
Top=grey. Mines capped off. For?
Next=yellow. This & the purple beside it are wired together down in the harness. This & the power run under the hood to relay.
Bottom one is empty.
Apologies for the non-tech terms. I ain't no damn electrician! Lol!
The indicator light in my switch, lights up when the lights are on.
