I'm the latest FNG.....

Been around Chevy trucks my whole life....

Currently have a 97 Tahoe 2DR 2WD.... Bought it about a year and a half ago, with a bad trans and a laundry list of other small problems....

Rebuilt the trans, took the 3" body lift ( what?) off, replaced the intake gaskets, got a ton of small stuff working again on the truck, and just went through the whole A/C system including compressor replacement....

Future plans:

Door pins, and lowering... (not sure how much I want to go... had a 4/6 SWB in high school)

Welcome, and yeah that's a great 2wd 2DR and really rare around here.

always wanted one... there are quite a few 4wd 2drs... the 2wd 2dr is a little harder to find.... had a coworker with it, and they talked a few times about getting rid of it.... transmission finally let go, and that is what it took for me to get it...

I hope to keep it and never get rid of it....
