I've started to look for another set of headlights for my 93 to do an HID retrofit on so that I don't have to hack up my TYC Elegantes.
I was wanting to get either a smoked style, or ones like these that have the top and bottoms blacked out:

but I cannot stand the ones that have the 3 lines running across the lenses. Does anyone make those with a smooth lens? I'd like to swap to those and a smoked version of my current parking lights. But I'm thinking I'll have to go with ones like this instead:

Since they are about the only ones kind I can find cheap that don't have the lines. I can't even seem to find a smoked set without the lines on them, although I would prefer a clear lens. Only other option I could see would be to buy the black ones and the euro ones and swap the lenses around when I'm done with the retrofit.
Any other ideas?
