Ext long bed convert to quad cab short bed

Hey I’m new to this forum and this seemed like a good place to throw out these questions I have a 97 c2500hd it’s the 8600 8 lug it’s a extended cab with a long bed and I was curious can I straight swap over a crew cab and a short bed to this frame ?

Unfortunately it isn’t that easy. The frame has an upward curve behind the cab to meet up with the higher bed floor. You will need to get creative with a large body lift or break out the grinder.
