I built a roughly 500 hp 383 for my Express van. Loads of off-idle torque and it screams up the rpm range.

Kept it EFI...Started it up today in the shop that was about 45°F after a month if hibernation. Started almost too quickly even though I have not done any real cold start tuning to it yet.

With the 3" electric cutouts open sounds like a Sherman tank warming up.

Little 383 sings when you give it throttle. Hot restart after I put the 48 lb/hr spider in it.

If the original 350 has some problems, just wait till that fresh cammed, headed, long tubed and injected 350 gets a hold of that tired 4L60E Grenade. Fire extinguisher comes to mind.
