What is the diffrents between the egr system and the canister purge system?

EGR- Exhaust Gas Recirculation. this recirculates a portion of the exhaust gasses back into the cylinders, and burns up the majority of the harmful emissions that were initially in the exhaust when it exited the cylinders the first time when it goes through for the second time. >>>> Emissions control

Canister Purge System- The canister purge valve serves as part of the emission control system in a car, and it measures the flow and amount of fuel vapor that is recycled into the combustion process via the charcoal canister, or fuel vapor storage device

Plus the EGR allows the cooler exhaust temp gas [500*] to flow back into the cylinder [1200*] to lower the Nox emissions
