DRL delete

well i pulled the fuse, and my steering wheel wont lock. Normal???
also the light wont even go out on the dash AHHHHH!

Hahaha... U could leave the fuse and pull the honeycomb lookin thing under the dash... Its to the right of the steering column behind the lower dash panel... I did this bcuz pulling the fuse also killed my factory fog lights...

Oh i did pull the honeycomb under the dash. Man i need to start clarifying.
But today shes locks, so i guess yesterday i just pulled being an idiot.

But whats the different between DRL's and factory fogs

I pulled the DRL fuse in both my 98 and 99 with no ill affects. I would not mind removing the reminder light, but I have gotten used to it. I treat it as a reminder that I make my vehicles the way I want them to be :). Myself, I don't care for DRLs and was glad that they were easy to get rid of :).

DRL is a low current on the low beam bulbs, and the factory fogs came on some older trucks and the Limited and Z71 Tahoes and mine in the pic with the factory fog lights in the bumper,
