is their a gear difference in a 1992 10 bolt differential then 10 bolt differential for 1998? just put a 1998 differential under my 1992 a few days ago and seems to take off faster now ? both trucks 1500 2wd long beds both have 4.3 v6

IIRC, the basic standard ratio for C1500 GMT400's are 3.42's. But they could be ordered with just about any other you wanted. Could be that you had 3.08's before.
The code is on the inside of the glove box door. Those codes have been posted up on here somewhere before.
Does your speedo read correct as per GPS?

the Speed Sensor on the transmission theirs none on the wheels and the 1998 truck that the differential came out of i scraped out months
