Couple of interesting things I found on the interwebs today....
First one is the first page of an article about making great 4x4s out of OBS/400 2 doors. Second is something many of us have also discussed; how the newer trucks just keep getting bigger and uglier.

I thought about putting the new fender z71 badges on an obs , it's flat so I wonder what it would look like

Where would you put it?

I like the little grille z71 logo some have now.

yeah it is a little different not shore how I feel about it a picture and in person makes a big difference and I do agree they do look great on a square body also I think the right term is bumperettes

Bumper guards, on the square body forum they call them "bumper fangs". Didn't know they had this style for the 400s; I've had several pairs of the square body ones. Still have a gently used pair....
All I've seen for our trucks is the factory black rubber ones that are shorter.

Here's some I saw today.
The blue truck, when I was lining up the initial shot, I noticed that there were people in the truck that I hadn't seen, walking over near it. Some people get cranky or crazy when they realize they are being photographed....so I moved over a little and the post covered them up. This is the front of a big, fancy grocery store on the way home....
The white one was at a Whataburger near my work; I had a coupon for a BOGO burger that expired today and this location is on the way home. This truck was a couple of spaces to our right, and a nice NBS truck was to our left. So I guess this is the WB that all the Kool Kats and their trucks go to.....
The Pewter one came up by us, under the 610 overpass, looked good.
