1995 gmc k2500 350tbi 5speed std
Cruise functions…kind of. I can get it up to speed at around 110-120km/h although once set it slows down to around 80. And throttle is set to floor trying to get back up to cruise speed. Once I turn cruise off every gear is then bogged down. Can’t figure out what the issue could be. Any help would be great

Engine low on power? Perhaps low fuel pressure, lack of spark advance, stretched throttle cable/bent gas pedal lever?

Brakes dragging?

Two tons of winter traction weight in the bed?

Engine has plenty of power in the city, and driving at 115km/h it’s just as soon as I turn cruise on, is when it starts to bog or slow down. Fuel filter as been changed roughly 2000km ago.

Roughly 250 pounds in the box lol
