Cruise Control Not Working or Possible Transmission Failure

97 Chevy K1500 350 vortec

When I engage cruise control is bogs the truck when its set and I notice the trany slips a little also. Could be road salt too on the trany slipping. Doesnt do it when cruise control isnt being used.

NOTE: I posted on here awhile back about a engine miss. Everyone recommended replacing dizzy. I still havent dealt with that yet cause since funds are tight right now.

well to answer your question about your miss. how many miles are on it? have you replaced the distributer cap/rotor, plugs, wires, coil?
