Crazy fuel gauge.

So today waa the first day i put more that 30 bucks in the tank.

Usually the gaus gauge floats and goes up and down depending if im taking off or slowing down. Today I put 20 gallons in and the needle is past the f and not boumcing at all.

Is it safw to say this is more than likely a wire /sender issue vs the air core motor in thr cluster

Yes, that is normal, it will stay above full for a while before it starts reading again.
