#1 is "Fast Drying, Hard Setting".
#2 is "Non-Hardening, Pliable Sealant".
#1 and #2 come in squeeze-tubes.

#3 (Aviation) is "Slow-drying, non-hardening brush-top sealant"; so more like #2 than #1, but thin enough to flow instead of being thick like toothpaste. Why this is special for "Aviation" is totally beyond me.
Don't think so or it would be labeled as Permatex #1

Gotcha thanks. I use #1 a lot, I’ve seen #2 I just thought “aviation” might have been a broad use generic name. Thanks for clarifying. I’ll see if I can find some.

I put the Prestone pre-mix scam liquid in my truck one winter and the coolant froze at the thermostat housing, I left work one night and it overheated because the thermostat was frozen closed. Concentrate from now on.

Ok thats my plan as I finally got the drivers side drain bolt out, im gonna drain out the premixed, buy 2 gallons of concentrate and the fill it up the rest of the way with pre mixed as I still have 3 ish gallons left
