What ever you do, keep your O2 sensors or you will kill your gas mileage. Your truck will go into an open loop and it will not be able to correct itself for too much or too little gas, which leads to problems with your motor. Your EGR is a way to keep the specific heat of the incoming air fuel mixture higher, which is good, but it is also reintroducing partially combust fuel, which is bad. So as far as an EGR delete goes, I can only see it hurting gas mileage, but definitely improving torque/ power.

I am currently taking an Internal Combustion Engines class at Michigan Tech University and learning all about NOx, CO, and CO2 emissions. Hence the presence of a 3-way cat to reduce these emissions. As far as power loss it will probably be minimal.
