I’m running 2in shackles currently and plan on adding 2in hangers at some point
Do the hangars, install new shocks, get the pinion angle right, then install the bar.
Check the clearance between the bar & the diff cover. The bar swings up off of the mounts as the suspension compresses.
Put a decent sized rub of chalk or about a 2" square dab of paint on the pumpkin cover at that point.
Jump in the box & get the suspension working. Get it bouncin' good.
Check the chalk/paint for rub marks.
My '97 @ 2/4 & a rear bar had enough clearance without having to shorten the end links. 'Just' enough. Maybe 1/16".
