I have owned and daily driven several 88-98's with stock size 235/75/15's with a 4-6 drop and I haven't had any problem's, but I like tire with some sidewall.

Heres my truck at 4/5 (I like a little rake) with 235/75/15 tires on all 4 corners. Actually thinking about going back to 15's

I'm beginning to think its the steel wheels on the truck they are a stock for these truck they look wierd i wanna get 454 ss for it i thin they got a different offset or backspacing

that's why I asked if it had 15's it may be a possibility your wheel is rubbing your control arm if you have drop spindles

idk if it has drop spindles or if the springs are just cut but i just found out that i have caprice/impala cop wheels on the truc im picing up some 454 ss wheels on money hopefully those have different off sets and all i wanna run 235/75 at all 4 corners

This is my truck, with 235/75R15 Fronts on 6" 73-87 Rallys

And 275/60R15 Rears on 7" 73-87 Rally's.

Only pic I have with the 235/75's, I used to run 235/60's

Yes its safe, your only trimming where it rubs on the Lower control arm. Turn the wheel and see where it rubs mark it and trim. Fender rolling/trimming is easy. Can use a basball bat or pie cut tabs and fold them up and trim them and grind smooth.
