The maroon truck is the one I'm driving now, it's got the 20x8.5 4.75" bs old revision 338's that I was going to swap onto the black truck she's driving; I'm considering letting the old wheels go altogether, instead of trying to mix the new fronts/old rears. The tires are same size all around currently 245/50/20 which are a little taller than I think will work on the dropped black truck, although I've raised it up an inch since that pic was taken. The black truck is running 255/45/20 front, 295/45/20 rear.

I'm running these wheels in 20x8.5 with a 245/45 all around. Width is perfect, it doesn't look stretched or bulging over the wheel.

Right...I'm clear on what size to run up front, already using a 255/45/20 on an 8.5 wheel and works perfect with this drop. What I need is a tire size in similar height but a width correct for a 10" 338 out back. :)

Im gonna go with the 255/45 up front with a 295/40 out back.... Should look good.

That's the sizes I have on my Boss 338's. They have the same sidewall height. Other than rolling the fenders (which was done when the 275/60-15's were on it.) I had no fitment/clearance probs.

OK, the 295/45/20's are maybe .75" taller than 295/40/20, with the same expected section width...so I guess I'll just re-use them. They fit fine now but they're on 8.5" Centerlines with a 5.5" backspace. Practically new Toyo Proxes S/T so might as well make good use. Will need new fronts though as they're much older S/T's that are cracked all to hell with just a little bit of tread left, been on there forever. Can't even say how many miles are on them but they've held up well.

EDIT - done deal; I ordered the 20x8.5 5.24" bs 338's yesterday for the front, bit the bullet and ordered the 20x10 338's for the rear today - gonna re-use the 295/45/20 on those, and ordered new 255/45/20 Proxes ST2 for the front. (ST's discontinued; couldn't find any and if I did they'd probably be old. Think ST2's are discontinued now too but stock is still out there.) A chunk of change but they're gonna look sweet on that truck!
