Body color grill protection

Hey guys quick question, whats the best way to keep rocks from chipping the crap out of my grill if I color match it? Just lots of clear or do some of you wrap the front with that clear protective vinyl, tyia!

I'm pretty sure there are actual clear coats designed to be rock chip resistant, but I can't remember who makes it. I'll search for it and let you know if I find it.

I know that on car bumper the paint is make to flex and also check into what Saturn cars use remember the panels on them flex.
