Still waiting, I ordered in February an was told 3-4 weeks on delivery but we are heading towards week 6 now so....

I checked out the 71/72 trailing arm axle I got a couple years ago today. When I bought it he said he thought it had 4.11 gears in it an he wasn't sure if it had a posi or not. Well it turns out its an open diff with 3.73. Which is perfectly fine with me. I pulled the axles out an they look good. I also went ahead an took the brakes off as I want to use the setup on my axle now since it has the wider shoes on it...

3.73s should be better to cruise with the 78.

Ya it has 3.73 now so its perfect actually....

And being open diff should help with mpgs and drivability since you aren't going for a race truck.

I'll probably put a powertrax or whatever they are calling it now in there eventually...

Started the clutch pedal install today. I think when the truck was built the first piece they started with was the brake pedal bracket....
