Bad lock cylinder?

Seems like every month there's something new :33: Novembers issue, is that, intermittently, while starting the truck, the key gets stuck past accessory. So the engine starts fine but then wont go into gear, brake light turns on the dash and no power to windows or the radio. If it wiggle it for quite some time it'll pop back where it is suppose to go and all is well with the world. I'm assuming the lock cylinder is jamming but nobody else has had this problem during my internet search it seems. Truck is a 1992 c1500 4.3 2wd auto

Check your ignition switch on the lower steering column before you condemn the lock cylinder, it should cycle from start back to run freely with the rod disconnected Also, make sure that the rod that connects the lock cylinder to the ignition switch is not binding
