I am taking a shot in the dark and hoping some of you can give me some help. This is not GMT400 related. My neices boyfriend has a 2004 k2500 and he has lost his key for it. He is trying to remove the ignition lock cylinder and replace it. Does anyone know how to do it off hand with out the key? Everything I can find seems like it is for the 95-2000 trucks. I don't know how much different the 01+ are. Any help is appreciated.

I couldn't find it in the manual, so here's a YouTube video:

I removed my ignition key cylinder on my 1999, and based on the video, it appears to be basically the same.
