Auto Shifter Indicator Lights

Just got my LS engine installed in my 96 Chevy, 2wd, 4l60E. I am using an aftermarket harness and re-programmed 411 PCM. Everything thing seems to be working fine including my tach and water temp gauge. However, my shift indicator light only lights the "P" indicator. Any ideas where to start trouble shooting this?

small black box where the shifting linkage goes into the 4l60e on the drivers side. when the linkage turns a small potentiometer in the black box sends out a signal to the dash and cpu.
Check the connections on the two plugs. one with 6 wires and one with 4 wires. and be careful one is glued from the factory so if it doesn't come out leave it.
