Anyone do a Manifold Spacer?

Im curious to know if anyone has done this. I have looked into the Marine intake and it just looks way too complicated and too many variables. I wanna do this manifold spacer http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts/vmax_manifold_spacer/1645.aspx# with the combination of the CFM ported throttle body. I have a Vortec Cold air intake. Any help would be great or pointers. thanks

Complete waste of money, especially if all you have is a CAI. Put that money towards something you'll actually see a difference with, like a tune for example.

What if you had a cam and were already tuned? Good band-aid measure to an engine getting close to running out of air up top?

You wouldn't be close to "running out of air", factory bone stock intake is known to handle upto 400HP

I had JBA shorties, mandrel bent 2 1/2 to 3 with magna flow exhaust,no cat, tune, upgraded spider, CAI, LT4 production cam, 1.6 roller rockers, efans and the Vmax spacer. Not impressed. This pic was before I built the box and ducting for the filter.
