guys- googled this and not much learned- so I’m hoping....

96 Tahoe, override button now used because some lights won’t shut off otherwise.

Driver side switch makes the buzzing sound when truck is on and door open, so that switch must be ok? Haven’t checked/replaced passenger- could that be it?

Dome lights come on/off when I roll dimmer fine.

Best way to find the fix? Thanks!!

Right side bad switch might be an answer. The switch provides a ground to complete the circuit. If it is on all the time (unless overridden) it is getting a ground all the time from somewhere. Either a short from the switch to the light somewhere or a bad switch would appear to be the issue.

I’ll replace the pass side switch- if that’s not the culprit and we know the drivers side works, what’s next? Thanks for the help
