I want to replace the front springs on my 98 rcsb 2wd, but I can't seem to find the exact replacements. It is stock height and the LMC replacement spring is heavier than the stock spring. The stock spring coils are mad from 3/4 inch steel with 7 turns while the replacement is 13/16 with 8 turns. The replacement is a progressive spring (closer turns on one end) while the stock is an ordinary wound spring (each turn equal distances). Can anyone tell me if this is normal? I'm afraid that the new springs may be too strong and I hate to put them in just to take them back out.
