Everything works on both. I removed both clusters myself from running vehicles.

I know the 89 cluster is gone, but would a moonie be plug n' play in my '92 Sierra with tach cluster?
no, 88-90 is one style 91 is a oddball year needs some wires moved to use the older moonies and 92-94 is totally different as the plug, wiring and use of a drac is a different setup

a 98 cluster is obd II and only works 96-2000, can be used on a obd I truck if you swap the whole wiring and sensors and everything else obd II, not worth the hassle
