Here is my 97 Z71 as it sits today. It's got a 3" body lift, torsion bars are cranked as close to level as I can get them to match the 2" blocks out back. Tires are 315s on NBS wheels with 2" spacers. I'm about to ditch the chrome wheel trim and rocker panels and plasti-dip the rockers, bumpers front and rear, and possibly the grille. Eventually the plan is to Line-X the rockers and bumpers. Maybe some towing mirrors and a cowl hood.

In the immediate future I am going to replace the NBS with some black wheels to match the rockers and bumpers. I like the look and cost of these 3, but would like some opinions on which to pick.

Also, is fishing line the best way to remove the current rocker panels before hitting it with an eraser wheel, or is there a better way to get them off?

A couple summers in AZ took mine right off! Removed my scuff strips by force and used a hair dryer and thumbnail to remove the goo. Tedious, but with a few beers it was a nice little project. Eraser wheel for sure to remove any lingering material. Not sure of any other tricks. Nice truck, btw...
