You should weigh them if at all possible. I'd really like to know they weight of each. Easier said than done I know.

Just need a good fish scale and hang each bed from an engine hoist. I don't think there's much difference between the two; stepside box is narrower so there's less steel, but fiberglass (OEM quality fiberglass which has to be stronger than "racing" parts) is not light.

Anyway if you don't like stepsides, man it's nothing to swap it out. I highly recommend it. Fleetside FTW

Man if that were my truck I would leave it just like it is a cherish it cause a clean low mileage obs is hard to come by.
