Ok so i installed a new Melling High Volume Oil Pump and I think it is safe to say that the oil pump was the issue. After installation of the HV pump I now have 70-75 PSI at cold idle running 10W40 (kind of scary b/c this is basically pegged). I am going to switch to 5W30 to see if it will lower the cold idle pressure some. Not sure about hot idle yet as I have only had a chance to crank and idle for about 5 minutes.
