That's also been suggested to me. Haven't actually measured yet, but apparently, the Impala rear is slightly narrower, too!

Would be able to run a deeper dish wheel with a narrower rear end (if appropriately sized otherwise). Deep offset wheels look **** on a GMT400.

I wonder how much different the 14 bolt axle tubes are. Any chance the Impy setup would work on my SS? Hmmmm... Might need to look further into this.

thatd be awesome thanks man, ive somehow acquired lt1 which is the same as the thirdgen fbody pbr discs rears, ls1 rear s and something off a ford. looks like the ford ones will fit a ff14 the others came off 10 bolts so they may or may not fit.
