93 chevy Coil sas

hello all,
I have done a SAS on my 93 Chevy Cheyenne.
here is what i started with.

this was its first set of 35's. i had just torqued the torsion bars up and slapped em on they fit with minimal trim to the front bumper.

i wheeled this truck like this for years then i left for the army and got some new wheels and tries, buschwackers, and a leveling kit.

this was march 2008.

then the time finely came and i bought a dana 44 from a friend and we said lets do this. started my removing the bed.

now it was time to shorten the frame. so how better then to just torch it off!

now with the rear frame gone the fun continues

this is our own made shackle flip with reinforcements of the stock hangers.

here is how it sits with the 3/4 ton leaf springs and blocks witch we decide to remove for less axle wrap.
put new cross brace/ rear bumper in and new primer to help with rust.

then put new shackles and took leaf out to soften springs. made me a custom gas tank out of a compressed air tank from harbor freight and some fittings from nyco in soudeton.

for fuel pump used a universal pump from napa with a homemade holder.

next was a flex test had to add me and some friends for weight but it did good. for the front not flexing that is

now for the front end. started by torching off everything stock and making a new flat surface to work with.

then removed unneeded body parts for easy access.

got the front axle under it and made the 3 link for the coils. coils i used are from a ford ranger 8 inch lift. and made my own bucket with pipes as a retainer kind of like the jeep fells use on there setups.

then i blew the trans was a lil tired with 190,000 on it lol. so i did a swap from auto to a nv3500 5 speed manual. at the same time hooked up an electric fan.

now it was up and running did a lil wheeling to try it out. found out time for new lower gears and bigger axle. got a hold of a ho72 with 4.56 in it . so i am now working on rebuilding and doing the disc brake setup on it. more pics to follow. also working a flat bed. here is a video of its first time out since the axle swap. that same day blew the powersteering out pump and gear box so all new now and gonna be doing hydro assist.
