Well i wonder if my truck has the wrong control head since i dont have recirc button in my 92

From my '92, if it helps. Been too many years for me to remember some of this crap. :(

Can't read the buttons but it's got 'em; MAX or REC... AFAIK the next difference in controls happened in '94 when they made 4 fan speeds.

My Dad bought my 92 new and the Chevy dealership replaced the AC controls at some point in 1995. The control module has 6 buttons and manufacture date of 01/30/95. Part #16177075 Service #16177555

Dorman lists it as the same part for pretty much every model truck. Not sure how accurate that is?

You could check the RPO codes for installed interior controls to cross check with parts listing.
