88 after market radio install

is there a write up for installing a aftermarket radio in a 88? i cant find any with the search. thanks

Okay I found the box with the plug in it but it is a small plug and the one that shelbyt.67 found looked bigger and it had a different plug

there are 3 or 4 plugs... the small one is most likely the line from the head unit to the brain box, you need the one from the other side of the box.

well the other plug goes to the speakers and power, etc. The small plug going to the head unit ONLY sends power and data between the 2 pieces.

Was there ever an aftermarket radio installed? Was the factory stereo working before you started trying to replace it?
