Before you crank it next, stomp your accelerator a few times hard and fast as you can. The valve that the tv cable works is the throttle valve. It's known for sticking. They make an aftermarket spring that comes in the rebuild kits that address that. Usually stomping the peddle will free it. DO NOT adjust the cable untill you try this, if you drop the throttle pressure, and it unsticks, you will burn it up pretty fast.
