the fuel was pretty simple actually.
buy this fuel pump - http://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-EP381...ie=UTF8&qid=1390608496&sr=8-1&keywords=ep+381
buy these adapters -
Fuel Rail Fittings : http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS+Performance+Products/555/103101/10002/-1 & http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS+Performance+Products/555/103100/10002/-1
Fuel Line fittings at fuel filter : Feed = http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS+Performance+Products/555/103106/10002/-1 Return (for me anyway) = http://www.jegs.com/i/Earl's/361/9894DBH/10002/-1
then get 4 of these : http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS+Performance+Products/555/100001/10002/-1
and the fuel line : http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS+Performance+Products/555/100914/10002/-1

I bought the 20' roll of SS braided line, but i only used about 3.5 feet of it for the feed side, and about the same for the return. so you could probably save some money, and buy a 10 foot piece. everything else should come with the engine as far as the fuel rails and what not. all that comes to a grand total of $140.91 (excluding tax, and priced with the 10' ss line). no where near $3,000. Money well spent if you ask me. i went from a 1990 TBI 350 to a 2003 5.3, and its a night and day difference in power, response, and everything else.

also, the reason i said "Return (for me anyway)", is because i was piecing my swap together from other peoples builds, and Jegs actually sells this kit - http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS+Performance+Products/555/103105K/10002/-1 which comes with a male 16mm and male 14mm fitting, which i guess other people have used on their swaps (maybe newer models). But when I removed the old motor, and got under the truck to remove the hard lines from the filter forward....i noticed that the fitting on the feed line (actually the outlet on the fuel filter) was a female fitting, and the fitting on the return line was a male fitting. So, i ended up ordering parts i didnt need. and waiting for the correct parts to come in...I did the whole research before the swap and gather all the necessary bits and pieces....but there's always something you're going to run into that you cant predict. and like i said earlier....stuff that works for other peoples swaps wont always work for yours.
