I don't recall what the actual size is. When I was getting new tires the guys a discount said the stock ones would be too tall for a slightly lowered truck.

What was the actual tire size for the stock silverado
For half ton, probably 235/75-15.
Do you still have the door sticker? If so it should say, owners manual might too.

Here is an update... everything is going well.

I'm still not sure what happened to my new 4L60e. The trans fluid is burnt. This was a new transmission with about 8k miles on it. It's sad.

The next course of action is to see if my stock drive shaft will work as far as being the correct length.

The kit comes with a new drive shaft order form so I'll probably get a new one anyway.

I'll be losing the function of my cup holders. Does anyone know a good looking after market cup holder?

the instructions from gm have you move the cup holder over from what I remember

Small update. I'll have to check out moving the cup holders over towards the passenger's side.
