I'm looking at a 97 suburban with a 454 and a whipple blower. It does already have headers on it. I know from looking that the stock heads suck. What heads will bolt up to the stock vortec intake and block? I'll be towing with it, but want power for having street fun. Would like to see 500hp with the blower at 8psi. Any suggestions?

The Gen V and Gen VI 454 engines (1991+) use a different style head than the earlier Mark IV 454s, they have revised cooling passages. You are basically limited to what GM produced from 1991+ or aftermarket.

The intake manifolds kept the same bolt pattern, so pretty much any 454 intake will work.
